Coffee Jelly

Coffee jelly is a chilled coffee dessert made by setting sweetened brewed coffee with unflavoured gelatin. Cut it into small cubes for iced milk drinks, or serve it in a bowl with a spoonful of whipped cream.

How to make it

  1. Pour ½ cup cold coffee into a bowl. Sprinkle gelatin over the surface and let stand 5 minutes.

  2. Heat the remaining 1½ cups coffee with sugar until steaming; do not boil.

  3. Whisk in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved. Pour into an 8-inch square dish.

  4. Refrigerate until fully set, then cut into cubes. Serve chilled.
