Cabbage Alfredo Pasta
Cabbage Alfredo pasta folds tender sautéed cabbage into a Parmesan-and-pasta-water sauce. The cabbage should soften and take on light colour before the sauce comes together; that keeps the finished pasta savoury rather than watery.

How to make it
Boil pasta in salted water. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add cabbage and a pinch of salt; cook 10–12 minutes until tender and lightly golden. Add garlic for the last 30 seconds.
Add half-and-half and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan until melted.
Toss in pasta, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time until glossy. Season with pepper and serve.
